Start the conversation.
Call, email, or send a project brief. Tell us what you're trying to build, where, and roughly when. We'll route you to the right path — stock model, Build-Ready, or partner program — and tell you what a working relationship would look like. One-business-day response, every time.
Tell us about your project.
Pick the role that fits — your form adjusts to match. The more specific you are, the faster we can route you to the right path and the more useful the first reply will be.

What happens next.
No black box. Here's the workflow from "I sent the form" to "I'm ordering a kit" — and what a Volstrukt response actually looks like at each step.
Acknowledgment + routing.
A real human reads your brief and replies. We tell you which path fits — stock model, Build-Ready, or partner program — or honestly route you elsewhere if we're not the right shop.
Scoping conversation.
A 20–30 minute call. We learn the project context; you learn how the system works for your case. No quote yet — this is the conversation that makes the quote useful.
Fixed-fee quote.
For stock-model projects: kit-level pricing + lead time. For custom: Build-Ready engineering fee + manufacturing estimate. Quote is good for 60 days.
Engaged project.
Deposit accepted, manufacturing slot reserved, engineering kicked off. From here, the How It Works five-phase journey takes over.
What to include in your first message.
A useful first reply depends on a useful first message. Here's what helps us route you correctly — and what's safe to leave for the scoping call.
Send this if you have it.
- Project location.City, state, lot context. Helps us understand jurisdiction, climate, and freight.
- Project type.ADU, custom home, multi-unit, tiny home, commercial. Different paths through the company.
- Drawings, if you have them.Sketches, SD, DD, CDs — whatever stage you're at. Attach as PDF or share a link.
- Timing. When you'd want the frame on site. Helps us tell you if it's realistic.
- Builder status.Have one, looking for one, or DIY? Changes how we route.
- Budget range.Even a wide one. Helps us tell you which kit level is realistic.
Don't worry about this yet.
- Final finishes.Floors, paint, fixtures — none of this matters until later.
- Exact dimensions.Rough square footage is enough at this stage.
- MEP details.Mechanical, electrical, plumbing — handled by your builder, not by us.
- Permitting strategy. We can discuss it on the call. Don't pre-solve it.
- Foundation type.Worth confirming later. Doesn't change our routing.
- "Should I be doing this at all?"That's exactly what the scoping call is for. Send the brief anyway.
When we're not the right shop.
Saying so up front is faster than three back-and-forth emails. If you see your project here, we'll route you elsewhere with respect — but the conversation we'd have wouldn't be useful for either of us.
- × Outside the United States.Volstrukt ships from Austin, and our engineering is calibrated to US codes and jurisdictions. International projects aren't currently a fit.
- × Pure wood-framed traditional construction. If your project is committed to wood and you're not weighing alternatives, we're not the structural supplier you need. The CFS conversation has to happen earlier in the design.
- × Single-event commercial deployment.Modular Commercial unit economics work for 3+ deployment cycles. A single pop-up is better served by event-tent rental or one-off pop-up construction.
- × Large commercial buildings.Class A office, restaurants, multi-story commercial, big-box retail — outside our scope. We're residential and small-scale modular commercial.
- × Full general contracting.Volstrukt isn't a GC. We supply the engineered framing system; foundation, MEP, finishes, and on-site assembly stay with your local builder.
